Donald Trump in a COMPLETE MELTDOWN as Poll Numbers are Collapsing

I cannot just standby and wait for my nephew Dominic to state his valid arguments as to why Trump will win re-election in the fall in his next article he promises to publish on this website. He is spending a considerable amount of time putting his facts together that support Trump and thus his reasoning for supporting him. But what I need to do is to move forward and explain why I believe that Trump will not win in the fall. When Dominic finally does write his next article then and, in the future, I will fact check everything he says, just like the media fact-checks Trump, and some of the lies are so obvious, how does Trump think he can get away with any of the lies!!

Even Trump is getting some very bad news from his top political advisers that there is some very worrisome polling data out there that shows eroding support in battleground states. I briefly mentioned this to my nephew Dominic, but he laughs and says that I’m reading what he calls ‘fake media’ reporting.

First and foremost, the 2020 general election will be mainly about Trump’s response, or the lack of it for the Covid-19 outbreak. His making a of good economy will have no effect now, especially since it’s in the toilet as of this writing. Second, as previously mentioned, surveys made by his own Republican National Committee show that the outcome will be very bleak for the president if he doesn’t get a handle around the virus outbreak and get people to work.

The problem is that there are now several million people out of work, the unemployment roles could go upwards in excess of almost 53 million people out of work. That sounds very serious, and it is. If the unemployment reached that height, that would mean that there would be more than three times as many people out of work than during the worst peak of the Great Depression. Who would ever imagine that there may be a 30% unemployment rate affecting the American people?

Trumps answer to this is to open the county back up, and get people back to work. The problem here is that the American people no longer trust the president, and even when he gives the states the go-ahead to open, he cannot force people to go back to work. But at the same time, Donald Trump has decided that as of the end of this month, either today or tomorrow, that there will be no further need to practice social distancing. Many people don’t like the fact that they are laid-off from work, but they now have some support with unemployment benefits that they qualify for. But instead of keeping the people safe by staying at home, Trump wants to reopen the economy by having workers go back to their jobs, without any real testing in force. Some Republican governors are telling residents of their states that they must go back to their jobs as early as next Monday or possibly lose their unemployment benefits. That’s what Trump wants to happen, even if the companies haven’t figured out a way to continue social-distancing at the workplace. Trump is banking on the economy getting back in shape, when in actuality, the economy will be in pretty bad shape up to including and after the presidential election.

Also, as if Donald Trump already doesn’t have the deaths of thousands of Americans on his hands already, he is gambling that the outbreak of Covid-19 will just stop, even though some major cities in the United States are still experiencing a very high death rate. Restaurants plan to open, with the guidelines of lowering their occupant capacity to only 25% of what it was during normal times. They think that would be enough to open. Still, will all the people wear face masks? Will they continue to practice staying away from the next person by 6-8 feet apart? Will the businesses fully enforce the rules? The answer to all three questions is ‘NO’.

Several of the governors will allow places like barbershops and beauty salons to open up. How do you practice social distancing in those businesses? Can you stand at least 6-8 foot from your patron?

The simple answer is you cannot. Another outrageous outcome for example, the governor of Florida is opening up the beaches. That means that there will be hundreds of people playing and bathing together. No social distancing will be there. Is there a high chance of covid-19 outbreaks to continue on the beaches? The answer is YES.

Will any of this activity stop the continued spread of Covid-19? Can we be sure that the people who go to the beaches, the barbershops, restaurants and the like are Covid-19 free? Of course, you cannot, which means even more people will die who become infected with Covid-19. The total death toll will continue to rise and that will again surely be on the hands of Donald Trump. I wouldn’t be surprised if the country had to go back to social distancing again, and that surely would kill what was left of the economy.

All of the experts say that without the necessary volume of testing, social distancing should continue and the economy should not try and open up at this time until testing and social distancing can be done.

Dr. Anthony Fauci stated “It’s inevitable that we have a return of the virus and maybe it even never goes away”, but Trump contradicts the doctor saying “It’s going to be eradicated” That’s doctor Trump speaking.

Dr. Fauci stated “If you want to get to pre-coronavirus, that may never happen in the sense that the threat is there.”

But Trump then states “I can see the new normal being what it was three months ago. I think we want to go back where it was”.

A question was posed to the president “Do you think you are confident that you can surpass 5 million tests?”

Trump answers, stating “We are going to be there very soon. If you look at the numbers, it could be that we are getting very close”. Then he contradicts himself saying… “Somebody came out with 5,000,000 people. Do I think we will? I think we will, but I never said it”. Professionals who know about testing says that the amount of 5,000,000 tests a day will never happen.

So, Trump contradicts Dr. Fauci, and Trump then has to lie again, saying that he didn’t say something that was actually recorded on tape. How big of an ignoramus fool do you have to be to act like Trump!

Another fact. With the death toll continuing to rise, Trump is rejecting the idea of a new normal, as he repeatedly states that things will get back to what they were like before the pandemic hit, and it will do so quickly. He claims that the virus will be eradicated with, or without a vaccine. No medical professional would say that, only Donald Trump who is scared that if it is not eradicated before the election, that would hurt his chances for re-election.

Even if my nephew could honestly convince himself while trying to convince me that Donald Trump will win re-election, then what is the explanation for the polling numbers. By ALL polls, if the general election were held today, Trump would lose. Trump is melting down, with his slipping poll numbers.

Presently, Trump is losing in every important state. His own campaign manager Pascal told him how grim his election possibilities were at this moment. Then he threatens to sue his own campaign manager because he gave him that information. That’s a terrible place to be with only 6 months left before the election. Then he states that his relation with his campaign manager is good. Another lie!!

There are some very important states that he MUST win in order to be re-elected but he trails Joe Biden in several key states. His only out may be to reverse the economic downturn effecting the economy caused by Covid-19. Anyone with any sense will tell you that will that the economy will not come back by election day. The GDP dropped almost 5% yesterday, and the prediction is that there will be another big drop next month. There is just not enough time before the election for the economy to recover.

Here are the polls that all show Trump losing to Joe Biden. His campaign team brought him a dose of reality, stating if the election were held today, he would lose.

Trump is losing in Texas, in North Carolina and all over the United States and overall, he would lose the electoral college. He presently is trailing Joe Biden by 10 points nationally in a few polls. In a little more of a breakdown, check out the following information. Fact-check it if you like.

By today’s date, April 30th, here are the standings…

Trump is losing by 8 points in Pennsylvania and Michigan according to most polls.

Trump is losing by 3 points in Florida. He is down by double digits by seniors in Florida.

Trump is losing by 8 points in New Hampshire.

Trump is losing by 5 points in North Carolina.

Trump is losing by 1 point in the state of Texas.

Trump is losing by 36 points in his home state of New York.

Now stop and think about this for a second. He is technically in a statistical tie in the state of Texas. Really?!?!?!? Texas is or was a solid Republican state. Texas may flip in November, but I even admit that it is a real long-shot, even if Trump is only loosing by one point in a poll.

Again, today is April 30th. Trumps approval rating now sits at 44%. He has done nothing to date to gather support from Democrats, Independents, women and minorities. Trumps campaign team implored Trump to stop holding his daily task force briefings as they are hurting his numbers, but instead of acknowledging that, he was more concerned that his TV ratings could take a hit. Trump openly states that he doesn’t believe the polls. Even though his own senior campaign staff is telling him that he’s losing, he still says that he’s still winning Florida and the mid-west. I guess the seniors in Florida where they now do not support Trump by double digits will still vote for him in November. Now that is what I call wishful thinking….

The bottom line here is that Donald Trump is in trouble. He is in a total meltdown, and harmed his political reputation with the daily briefings especially when he likes to play doctor, telling people that they need to ingest Lysol . Of course, he would never acknowledge the true facts. Trump is truly bleeding here. It pretty much started at the beginning of the pandemic just a few months ago. On February 28th, there was only 1 recorded death from Covid-19, but today there are over 60,000 deaths, but he believes that now social distancing should be stopped. Why? Because he has to get the economy working again so he can get re-elected. Never mind about the health and welfare of the American people. Good luck Mr. Trump..  Good luck to my nephew Dominic!!

My Nephew and His Bet to beat Joe Biden

I am the editor/publisher of this website. My nephew sincerely believes that Donald J. Trump will win re-election to the White House in November.  He also says that after he writes a few articles here, he is going to write a separate article in an attempt to try and persuade me and others to support Trump. Why? Any person with any common sense can tell you that it is now impossible for Trump to win re-election in November. My nephew wants to make a large wager, the figure being $100,000. He claims that Trump will win election. I say that he will not. He wants to make this 6-figure bet with me proclaiming that Trump will win. If Trump wins, then I owe him $100,000. If Trump loses, Dominic will pay me $100,000.

Let me state right here and now why Trump will not win Re-Election. I am stating the obvious which happens to be fact just so that I can convince my nephew to not support Trump for re-election. He in turn is trying to convince me that Trump will win, but to this point, he is doing an awful job of it.

For starters, Trump is his own worst enemy when it comes to the polls.  In his latest tirade, he made totally irresponsible and irrational comments on the last Coronavirus briefing yesterday on April 23rd, 2020.

What our president hasn’t realized yet is that what he says have consequences and that it would be beneficial for him to allow the medial doctors advise what treatment should be taken to fight Coronavirus.   Trumps poll numbers are consistently dropping because people who listen to him at these briefings do not believe what he says.  The briefings are definitely not helping him win re-election.

During the briefing yesterday, Trump stated that the possibility of injecting disinfectants into the body may be a cure. He also said that light treatments may also help.  What he doesn’t understand is that when some people listen to him, because he is the president, that they truly believe what he says. The problem is that he doesn’t know what he is saying. Somewhere in America, there will be a person who is going to swallow ‘Lysol’ thinking that because the president said it was OK, that it would truly be OK to take the disinfectant to rid himself of the virus. Any grown adult with the slightest bit of common sense knows that drinking ‘LYSOL’ would not be the thing to ever consider doing, because Lysol was never created to be ingested into the body.  It is a poison and will kill any one who drinks it. There are warning labels on the product that apparently Trump never read that state these facts.

As of this writing, I am willing to give my nephew one last chance to bow out of this bet. It is not only the practical thing to do, because he truly doesn’t have the money to make this bet and he will believe almost everything that ‘FOX NEWS’ broadcasts about Trump. I’m still waiting for article #2 from Dominic and I will give him the choice to continue and go forward with the bet. If he continues to go forward, then I will make a formal statement here, that will include all of the details of the bet.

Is there anyone out there that would be willing to explain to my nephew why this bet is a very stupid thing to do. Just leave a comment and I’ll review it and publish it. Of course if you are on Dominic’s side, then especially please comment.

Otherwise, the only thing I will be left to do is to publish this bet for the world to see.

I hope everyone is staying safe.

Trump Failed to Heed Warning and HE FAILED TO ACT!

Donald Trump is on a blame game tirade that openly shows that HE does not know about what every other president in U.S. history has known, and that is “the buck stops here”.  He truly cannot lead, and cannot react properly and in a timely manner when it comes to things like a pandemic. Today, it is mid-April and after president Trump finally has declared the pandemic as a national emergency on March 13th, it is clear that he failed to act in a timely manner and put the United States at risk. He blames the NHO (National Health Organization) for a slow response and vows an investigation into the organization.  Trump’s timing couldn’t be worse for suspending funds to the organization, because the truth is known when you see first hand the ‘Red Dawn’ emails that were floating around,

showing that

president Trump knew about the pending health disaster in January.

When the disease started to spread, there was a question as to what the Federal government knew about the severity of the Covid-19 outbreak and what steps were being done to address it.

Correspondents reacted about what was happening inside and outside of the Federal government, as a series of emails were leaked to the NY Times, known as the ‘Red Dawn’ emails.

So what is so damning from the emails?

There are a group of physicians and pandemic experts who starting in January of 2020 were observing what was happening with the outbreak in China, and these are folks who spent years working on preparing the United States for pandemics.  They were increasingly concerned starting in January about the fact that this might become the kind of threat they have long feared that the United States was going to face, dating back to 1918 and the Spanish Flu. They were quite concerned in January and they were alarmed and really concerned as of the middle of February, that something very terrible was about to happen in the United States.

These same groups of physicians and pandemic experts knew by the end of February that the country was in trouble and informed the Federal Administration that social distancing and other options were needed to prevent the disease to take over the country.

But….

The government did not respond with the claims coming from the experts, like the public health officials and authorities inside and outside of government. Trump waits and does nothing, but then declares a National Emergency on March 13th, 2020.

Here are some of the key moments…

  • The lack of decisive decision making in the White House which has been a known factor since Trump has taken office. A lack of leadership is highly noted.
  • A lack of respect for the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the lack of respect for the trade adviser, Peter Navarro as the White House dismissed the memo that he wrote in January stating that this would become a pandemic.
  • In late February, a consensus forms among the top health advisers in the United States that the time has come, that governors need to know what is now needed which is to perform non-pharmaceutical interventions where outbreaks are rapidly occurring that they needed to shutdown sectors of the economy to prevent further spreading of the disease.
  • The president was not willing to do anything at this point as he waited another 3 weeks to take such a position. In the meantime, the disease spread dramatically in places like New York, Washing Michigan, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Louisiana, and California.
  • Because of this delay, there were many more deaths because there was no social distancing.
  • When it was observed that non-symptomatic people were spreading the disease to others, this is when most all health officials spoke out and said that the United States needs to take action now. But the president wasn’t ready to make that move even with their very valid claims.
  • The president initiated a ban from China on certain individuals – non-US citizens. The quarantine of U.S. citizens coming from abroad was sloppy and many refused to self-quarantine. The White House believed that putting this limited ban of people coming to the US from China was the right thing to do. The idea was ‘containment’ which all heath officials knew would not work.  Why? Because the president FAILED TO ACT! It was just too late..
  • The heath issue still wasn’t under control by March, PPE equipment still wasn’t ordered. Ventilators were in short supply and were not ordered. He promised millions of ventilaters, but only a fraction were produced. The Army Corps of Engineers and DOD weren’t ordered to supply up until March. This should have been done in January. Why didn’t they act in time? Because the government thought they could ‘contain’ the virus.
  • Once it spread out of control, then the government went to the next phase which is ‘mitigation’. Again, this preparing for mitigation should have taken place in January.
  • In early February, the Secretary of Health and Human Resources – Alex Azar initiated a plan of early surveillance strategy to see if community spread was starting, but targeted cities were never notified in time that they were going to be part of the plan. So when they were finally approached, it was irrelevant, because there were already wide spread infections. The idea of an early warning system wasn’t heeded. TRUMP FAILED TO ACT dismissing Azar’s claims and making a claim of his own, that the problem was like the flu and would go away.
  • In an attempt to get the country out of social distancing and lock-down, the need of extensive testing is needed to find out which people are still infected and isolate them so that others don’t become infected. So far as of April 18th, the government hasn’t come out with a clear plan to protect citizens as governors ease restrictions in each state.

It is clear that another outbreak will surely happen because of a lack of leadership, or a lack of a plan to ease the population back into their every day lives living and working together. There president is banking on the fact that further testing is not needed and wants the governors to open up their states. The president remains unchecked as he feels invincible.

He should and most likely will be made responsible for his actions or the lack of, for what he is doing to put people in harms way, yet again. He is seriously violating his oath. History will not be too kind to Donald J. Trump.

Come this fall, it is expected that another outbreak of Covid-19 will come to pass and we may be in this all over again, because there is no vaccine to date and it is believed that it will return annually like other illnesses do. A vaccine may be over a year away.

Trump Continues to Deliver False Claims

There seems to be not a day that goes by as Donald Trump continues to give the media and bloggers like myself the material to display his constant lying to the world on national TV. Today seemed to be one of many of the Trump egregious lies that show  his inability to represent the Office as President of the United States. He does not have the freedom to constantly lie to the American public and should and I believe he will be accountable for it come November.  During his daily task force presentation by his team and himself about the progress of his pandemic response team that he put together almost two months too late, he opened up the briefing with his defending his actions. He played a video to reporters that was witnessed by the world where he claims that he was not slow to respond to the Coronavirus outbreak. He claimed that in late January that he announced restrictions would be in order and actually posed the restrictions in February. But even as late as March, he downplayed the virus and was extremely slow in deploying tests that the experts believe would have saved many lives. The response for the unseen enemy, in what he called “a war” wasn’t nearly enough of a response at all. For weeks, going into April, he waited to make orders on critical equipment that the states needed, as he claimed then and continues to claim now that the states are responsible for acquiring the supplies they need. Today he blamed the governors for not having the equipment that was needed. Trump on the other hand believes in what I call “the buck NEVER stops here” and is always right, and believes that he always makes the best decisions for the country. He would be the first to tell you that “he’s too smart” to make mistakes, and know better than most. What an arrogant person he is.

On another front, Trump claimed today that he has the absolute authority over states’ Coronavirus restrictions. Below is a short list of false claims that he told the world today in his daily briefing about the pandemic and the handling of it.

  1. He inherited broken Coronavirus tests
  2. Falsely claimed that governors stopped talking about the need for ventilators
  3. Falsely claimed that he banned travel from Europe.
  4. He has absolute authority over states’ Coronavirus restrictions

Heck, even the video presentation that he displayed at the briefing wasn’t even totally true, but most likely will be used in his re-election campaign. In one quote made by Maggie Haberman, a journalist from the New York Times.

“As there were more cases and it was clear that it was spreading out of China — where it originated — the President took this move that he was widely criticized for by Democrats and even some Republicans at the time. Which was he halted a number of flights from China into the U.S. The idea was to halt the spread of the disease, keep transmissions to a minimum. He was accused of xenophobia. He was accused of making a racist move. At the end of the day, it was probably effective, because it did actually take a pretty aggressive measure against the spread of the virus”.

Yes it is true that the above is a direct quote by Haberman. But, Trump purposely left out the very next line in Haberman’s statement..

” The problem is, it was one of the last things that he did for several weeks.”

Why did he leave out that line. My only conclusion is that he did not want the people to know the facts, and he does not want to be transparent, even though he claims that he is transparent on everything (another lie).  How ignorant this president must be to think that the media wouldn’t fact check his claim.

During the same interview Daily’s host Michael Barbaro as he asked Haberman a follow up question as what she believed was the right decision, she responded with the following quote…

“That’s exactly right. In the same way that George W. Bush was criticized for his ‘Mission Accomplished’ banner about Iraq, the President treated that moment as if it was his mission accomplished moment. He did not do anything after that in terms of alerting the public, or telling people to be safe, or telling people to take precautions.  And it basically squandered several weeks within the US”.

I am not making this stuff up. Our president acts like an ignorant fool. This information can be found in an article that was published by CNN today, dated April 13th by Daniel Dale, Em Steck, Maegan Vazquez, Tara Subramaniam and David Wright from CNN. Usually, I find the time to watch the daily briefings concerning Covid-19, but each day it is getting harder and harder to watch. Each day, the media provided updates that outlines Trump’s egregious lies.

This website ‘Trumpdecisionpoints.com‘ will continue to post each of Trumps decisions, whether they are a truth or a lie. I will give him credit where credit is due, but I absolutely will continue to state the facts and have proof that these facts were published by a reputable source.

The Facts As They Are Centered Around Donald Trump

Yesterday on April 8, 2020, Bernie Sanders made the announcement that he is stepping out of the presidential race. That makes Vice-President Joe Biden the presumptive Democratic nominee to run against Donald Trump in November. The year 2020 has been difficult for every American with the pandemic and I’m sure that the peoples of the entire world will like to forget this year and the liking’s of Donald Trump. Not many Americans will be willing to continue with Donald Trump as their president. Even several of the Republicans that voted for him in 2016 are jumping ship. Enough is enough!!

Most every U.S. president in modern history has become very popular when they successfully handle crisis. They also do well when they follow in the footsteps of their predecessors. But unlike previous presidents, Donald Trump doesn’t know how to follow or take advice from his predecessors, especially President Obama. He constantly disrespects the prior president, and blames him for many things. He hasn’t learned that ‘the buck stops here’ and that he will be totally held responsible for the having no plan at the beginning of the pandemic, and starting to fight what he calls “the enemy” in a timely manner so that many lives could have been spared.

What people will remember in their minds the most after this pandemic will be the way that Donald Trump conducted himself in those daily briefings. He used the lectern as his bully pulpit. Since he cannot have rallies for his re-election campaign, he has the advantage of speaking to the people every day.  Never a day goes by while reporting on the progress of his administration to fight just against the pandemic, he campaigns by attacking he foes.  He attacks the press, and criticizes his soon to be challenger in the election, Vice-President Joe Biden. This is one way that he fails the people. People who watch the briefings are not just Republicans, but Democrats, peoples of every color and race and they listen to him closely.  But he just doesn’t care, as he insults the media on live TV, and talks bad about everyone who does not support him.

While he speaks, you can say he demonstrates that he is a very unsteady captain of the ship. He demonstrates all the qualities that you do not want to see in a leader during a crisis.  In this time of need, Americans always look up for guidance to the president but to state the facts, Donald Trump is not the first president that showed his inability to lead during a crisis.

What we have in November is what is called a crisis driven presidential election. In the past, presidents didn’t handle their duties the way that they should to protect the people, just like Donald Trump is failing. During the civil war, President James Buchanan let the nation into the Civil war and is considered our worst president. Andrew Johnson – the reconstruction.  In 1865,  Johnsons plan for reconstruction gave the South, predominantly white, the authority in regulating from slavery to freedom but in the end, there wasn’t any reconstruction policy. Herbert Hoover – did poorly during the depression. President Lyndon Johnson, handled Vietnam very poorly. He constantly told the American people that we were winning the war, but people knew the truth and of course, the United States lost the war. Johnson also lost re-election. Jimmy Carter is well known for the Iranian hostages. George W. Bush is known for Katrina, Iraq and Afghanistan.  All of these presidents had the qualities of in confidence, the lack of capability, and that of the president.  Donald Trump is at the top of the list.

Where can you begin when you talk about Donald Trump’s poor qualities as president.  To get to the point here, I will quote text from the QUORA WEBSITE from back in 2018.

The facts concerning Donald J. Trump are stated as follows:

  • First, besides the presidency, he is a failed businessman.
  • While hiring contractors for his properties, he routinely cheated them.
  • He promotes frivolous lawsuits that have ruined his competitors.
  • He constantly tells lies. He is very compulsive with lies. Every day he tells lies.
  • He made fun of an American POW for being captured by the enemy which was particularly egregious.
  • He knows nothing about the American political system and apparently does not give a damn about learning. It is believed that he doesn’t even read his daily briefings to know what’s going on in the world. He received briefings of the upcoming pandemic back in December, but did nothing about it. It wasn’t until March that he finally came on-board and wanted the fight the virus.
  • He appeals to, and associates with, shamefully bigoted groups such as the KKK and the Alt-White.
  • He makes threats to his political opponents and suggests to anyone who does not applaud him is guilty of “treason”.
  • He behaves as if the US Presidency were a dictatorship and he were entitled to pass laws by fiat.
  • He will not, cannot cooperate or negotiate.
  • He seems determined to alienate America’s allies and make America’s enemies only hate America more than they already do.
  • He never served in the military, and shows no respect for veterans, and yet is prepared to go to war in order to boost his ratings.
  • He continues to act as a Reality-TV star. He is all show and constantly displays no substance.
  • He is a narcissist and a xenophobe.
  • He has no morals, but that of a scam artist, while displaying methods as a shyster.
  • The one thing felt by many or most Americans is the lack of confidence in the president.
  • Donald Trump has the morals of a scam artist and the methods of a shyster.

An added fact to come will be that Donald J. Trump will be remembered as the worst U.S. president in history even worse than President James Buchanan  for handling the epidemic known as Covid-19 so poorly. All of these traits that Trump owns makes him totally unqualified to continue to be the President of the United States. Others impeached by Congress, there were Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.
