Ken Paxton appears to be a rich man. So much has been said about the properties that he owns on his salary of Attorney General of Texas.
So, let’s investigate this further, shall we? A friend at a recent temporary job told me that that Ken Paxton does not own 16 homes as the Democrats and news media claim he does. But with the big question out there, let’s investigate this further.
To start, many of his properties are in a blind trust. What does he really own, and what does he manage regarding realistate?
Actually, it’s hard to even figure this out because the Republican U.S. Senate nominee appears to have violated federal ethics law, which requires candidates to report their income and disclose mortgages on properties on other than the personal residences. He has not disclosed information that was demanded by law to confirm the facts about some of his properties. This is outright corruption. With his $153,000 salary which is public knowledge, there is ample reason why there is massive speculation that he has deliberately withheld inform to hide the facts regarding his properties.
Recent disclosures of his assents and liabilities created confusion about his net worth and holdings. Whether the fact that what is reported by media is that he owns 16 homes or not, the facts are clear that Ken Paxton has something to hide when it comes to his wealth and properties that he owns and manages.
Paxton himself as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, claims that he only owns seven homes. But even with that revelation, he claims that he hasn’t made any income from any of them. Can you actually believe that. Ken Paxton wants you to believe this because receiving income and not reporting it is a violation of federal disclosure law.
Why doesn’t Ken Paxton put these rumors or at least state the facts and put this all to rest? I believe he will not because he has something to hide. So it’s reasonable to conclude that Ken Paxton is not honest about his properties and income made from them, even if they are only rental properties.
He also did not disclose mortgages at a Utah golf resort where he has three condos, even when that federal law requires him to list them as liabilites if they are not personal residences. What is he hiding here?
He owns a vacant lot in Texas with a his stated value of $50,000, but is this figure accurate? He undervalued his property, pulling a Donald Trump stunt, by claiming his property is worth less to pay less taxes, but at the same time one of his own business partners claimed that Paxton’s share for years has been worth about $1 million. Federal financial disclosure laws require property to be listed at fair market value.
So who knows how voters can make sense of his finances because of the apparent errors and omissions found to obscure the extent of Paxton’s income streams, his assents and debt.
Whether he owns 16 homes or a mixture of homes and rental properties, since he hasn’t disclose the properties correctly as required by law, it goes to prove how sloppy Ken Paxton has been regard the properties, in a clear effort to conseal some of his investments and property holdings.
Paxton has been an attorney general for Texas for at least 3 terms. He has deliberately withheld financial information that can explain how he became a multimillionaire on a meager $153,000 salary. How could he had the resources to purchase more than a dozen properties in five states. He has purchased these properties when Ken Paxton’s salary was no more that $153,000 a year.
In just a few days from now, the voters in Texas will chose their next U.S. Senator. Do you what a man as your U.S. Senator that is corrupt and breaks the laws that we the citizens of this country must follow? Should a man with these flaws gain a U.S. Senate position? It’s obvious to me that corruption is rampant when you talk about Ken Paxton.
