Trump is the most corrupt president in American history, and here are ten of the most corrupt things he’s done so far.
Number one: The $1.8 Billion slush fund.
He literally sued himself, and then he settled with himself, creating a fund, a multi-billion dollar fund, just for his friends, donors, and the folks he pardoned for their insurrectionist crimes on January 6th.
Number two: The ballroom.
He will use $1 Billion dollars of taxpayer money for this ballroom for himself, even when he lied in public and said taxpayers would NOT pay for it, and then he’s raising hundreds of millions of dollars from his big donor friends who will get special treatment. His big donor friends are likely getting more tax breaks because they donate money to him.
Number three: Foreign Government Deals.
He’s getting a four hundred million dollar bribe claim from the Qatari government. He has made so much money, and these governments get, like his donors, special treatment.
Number four: A Requirement – Any visiting dignitary must stay at his property.
He’s using a lot of taxpayer dollars and private money to enrich himself by saying, You have to stay at my properties.
Number five: Bolster his businesses using his office of President.
He’s using the presidency to bolster his businesses, including brands like the Trump mobile phone.
Number six: He’s selling pardons and visas to make money.
This is so insanely corrupt. It makes no difference what type of criminal you are. If they bribe him with lots of money, he will pardon them.
Number seven: The Trump coin.
He launched a crypto coin, which is essentially a Swiss bank account where people just deposit their money and they get whatever they’re asking for from Trump.
Number eight: He uses the FCC to go after people he doesn’t like.
President Donald Trump has escalated his use of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to target journalists and media organizations he deems hostile, most recently demanding that the agency punish NBC’s Meet the Press host Kristen Welker for describing his endorsement record as having “mixed results.”
Number nine: Attacking political enemies.
He uses the Justice Department to go after political enemies. He will ask Todd Blanche – his Attorney General to go after somebody and Todd Blanche will do it. President Donald Trump has systematically weaponized the federal government, particularly the Department of Justice, to target political opponents through criminal investigations, public threats, and executive orders. This “retribution” campaign, a central theme of his second term, has been directed almost exclusively at Democrats, liberal organizations, and critical media figures.
Number ten: Spending money on ICE.
Several hundred billion dollars on ICE and these detention centers, and the people who get big contracts are his big donors. Under the second Trump administration, ICE has received record funding totaling approximately $200 billion through 2029, primarily via the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the subsequent Secure America Act.
The problem with this is twofold.
First, he is not focused on the investments that need to happen to improve people’s financial well-being, to keep them safe and second, he is laser focused on making as much money as he possibly can.
This will kill our democracy. Corruption kills governments, and Trump is the most corrupt President in U.S. history. The country is in it’s survival stage from the likes of not Russia, not China, not Iran, but trying to survive from Donald J. Trump.
