I ask myself, why would Donald Trump bar news reporters from the White House? You would think that he would want the news reporters to cover him at all times. He loves being in the news. He always wants the attention. He wants to be the talk of the town. But I think I understand now.
He was upset because the news reporters told the truth about depleted munitions because of the Iran war. He claimed that what they said became a National Security issue. So he retaliates against them.
But it was ok that he stole top secret documents from the United States and kept them in the bathroom at his golf club after his first term. Wasn’t that a national security issue?
He would lie and say that it wasn’t, when everyone else would say that it was. Whatever he said was right, and everything everyone else says that disagrees with him are wrong.
It was ok to him that he started a war, when he blamed past presidents for doing just that. Did that become a security issue?
Aren’t soldiers dead because of the war that he started in Iran? The answer is yes.
It was ok to Trump to alienate our allies.
Will they be there if we need them, like helping us in a war that we started without their knowledge or consent? Of course not. But Trump expects everyone to follow him. In his mind, it’s me, me, me, me. It’s not about the people now.
It was ok to Trump to hire a Fox News reporter Pete Hegseth to the United States Secretary of Defense.
He’s one of the greatest national security threats we have. But whenever Trump needs an excuse to do something, he usually claims it’s for national security. And he will get his way until he exhausts all avenues before he stops, and usually then doesn’t stop until he wants an opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court. In most cases, the U.S Supreme Court usually votes against the lower courts because Trump gave them their jobs as right leaning judges.
But the press does what they do and they do it well. They inform the public, and they don’t mislead them like Trump does.
Fox news is the only exception. They had to pay millions for repeating a lie that Trump claims true about the Dominion voting machines.
But Trump keeps whining about the CNN, MS Now and Political. There reporting has a purpose and that’s to report the truth, and Donald Trump doesn’t like what they say about him.
Trump wants everyone to believe that the lies he says are the truth.
He’s all about misconception. The midterm elections are definitely a referendum against Trump.
Wouldn’t it be cool if Trump would come out and say outright, that he’s going to say something honest! Maybe he doesn’t have to give too much information, like maybe just telling the truth about what he had for breakfast, and not once talk about what Joe Biden or Kamala Harris would eat. Maybe he could tell us that he eats Big Macs for breakfast and maybe he would then tell us that he was prepared Big Macs for breakfast because he told them it was a national security issue. And why wouldn’t he do that, because everything that comes out of his mouth usually get top coverage around the world whether it’s the truth or not.
The shit show will end sooner than Trump thinks. If the Senate and the House go back to Democratic control, Trump will have a very disappointing last two years in office. It’s about accountability, and let’s see Donald Trump stop the reporters from reporting what’s being said in Congress.
