Donald Caves Again, This Time it’s Canada

Well, it didn’t take long for Donald Trump to cave in again. Now he has paused tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days after he speaks with Trudeau.

He claims the reason is because of Canada’s efforts to secure the border.

Trudeau said in a statement that Canada is spending $1.3 billion on “reinforcing the border.” Roughly 10,000 “frontline personnel are and will be” working on border protection, the country is appointing a “Fentanyl Czar” and will designate drug cartels as terrorists, Trudeau said. He added that Canada would spend $200 million on a new intelligence program targeted at organized crime and fentanyl.

It looks like Trump escaped the guillotine for now. Canada is not doing this because of the fentanyl going between Canada and Mexico, because there isn’t any proof that a large amount is traveling from Canada.

Trudeau pacified baby Trump and at the same time, saved pain that his own country would feel if the tariffs went into effect tomorrow. He pacified a racist felon, self-centered autocrat, that we as Americans and the Canadians must live with for the next 4 years.

Is China next? So far, Trump is batting 2 strikes out of 3.

One thing good so far today. Tomorrow will be a good day for the markets, as the futures markets for the DOW, S&P 500 and NASDAQ are all in the green.

Biden Security Deal with Mexico before Trump – the Same Deal with 10,000 Troops at the Border

Donald Trump caved before the tariffs that he promised against Mexico even took effect. He took to true social today writing…

 ” I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico.  It was a very friendly conversation wherein she agreed to immediately supply 10,000 Mexican soldiers on the border separating Mexico and the United States. These soldiers will be specifically designed to stop the flow of fentanyl and illegal immigrants into our country we further agreed to immediately pause the anticipated tariffs for a 1-month period during which we will have negotiations headed up by Secretary of State Marco Rubio Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessant and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and high level representatives of Mexico I look forward to participating in these negotiations with President Claudia Sheinbaum as we attempt to achieve a deal between our two countries.”

In other words, this was Donald Trump noticing that the stock market was tanking and noticing that the headlines were terrible and walking back his tough talk about imposing tariffs.  So now he claims that he agreed with the President of Mexico to send soldiers at the border. What a joke!

Guess What? That is the EXACT same deal that Biden secured in 2021 literally, according to AP, according to Bidens first White House Secretary Jen Psaki. She claimed Mexico will maintain a deployment of about 10,000 troops while Guatemala has surged 1500 police and military personnel to its Southern border and Honduras deployed 7,000 police and military to its border to dispense a large contingent of migrants there. Guatemala will also set up 12 checkpoints along the migratory route through the country.

Is Trump doing a fraction of that, or is there just border Troops between the US and Mexico?

 Ok, we’ve got 10,000 Mexican troops at the border to stop Mexicans from getting into the US illegally which Trump presumes is going to stem the flow of fentanyl into this country. That’s not going to have a huge impact on fentanyl according to a right-wing think tank in 2021. US citizens were 86% of convicted fentanyl drug traffickers, ten times greater than convictions of illegal immigrants for the same offense. Over 90% of fentanyl seizures occur at legal crossing points or interior vehicle checkpoints, not on illegal migration routes so US citizens who are subject to less scrutiny when crossing legally are the best smugglers.

The location of smuggling makes sense because hard drugs at ports of entry are about 97% less likely to be stopped than our people crossing illegally between them. Just 0.02% of the people arrested by border patrol for crossing illegally possessed any fentanyl whatsoever. In other words, we’ve beefed up security across the US- Mexico border to account for the 0.02% of fentanyl that isn’t coming through ports of entry or via American citizens who again are less subject to scrutiny but then again, it’s not like we suffered too much collateral damage here, right?

Well, the stock market did act poorly but who cares about stocks, right? According to Trump, this is about respect. He will never be concerned about your pocketbook, only his and his rich friends. He promised the world would respect us again later. Well, they surely won’t respect him now, after he crashed there markets today. The world thinks Trump is stupid and honestly, he is. They are laughing.  His pattern of insane threats of tariffs is dominating the news cycle which is what he wants. But it puts the US economy at risk as markets prepare to freefall. So, Trump pulls back, and takes credit as he claims he worked a deal with the Mexican president. Let’s see how long it is before he caves in to Canada. 

Trump Caves to MEXICO, Imagine That, Now He Picks on USAID

Right after the stock markets open and plunge over 600 points as expected, Trump CAVES in to Mexico. He now claims that he will pause tariffs to Mexico for a month. At the last check, the DOW stocks were only down 140 points, so they recovered by 500 points because of Trump’s concession to Mexico.

MEXICO PREZ FIRES BACK AND FORCES TRUMP INTO DEAL?!?!

Trump proposes himself to be a strongman. But in essence, he is weak, ill-advised and does things on a whim.

So what about all the Fentanyl coming in from Mexico? Has he magically stopped that? Was that not the main reason why he initiated the tariffs on Mexico in the first place? What about Canada?

Canada is our closest neighbor, but he elects to continue a freeze on Canada. When will he chicken out with Canada! Or do some

There are so many unanswered questions, so the markets will be very volatile for the next month.

But wait! Just when you think Trump finally does something right like halt tariffs on Mexico, he has his flunky Elon Musk come up with a plan that he backs. Now, let’s stop all FOREIGN AID for 90 days. So USAID from the American People has been halted. USAID is the government’s lead provider of nonmilitary foreign aid around the world. It’s been around since Kennedy in the 1960’s. But Elon Musk doesn’t like USAID. Watch the following video…

 

So now, the talk on the media shows will be about foreign aid. No new projects will be started, no contracts will be extended and work was stopped on most existing programs. All USAID’s top brass were sent home on paid administrative leave for 90 days, can’t access email and their offices were ransacked, as photos from the walls of their offices were removed.

So now, how do people apply for exemptions for life-saving aid programs? The answer is that they can’t, at least through the USAID program that was wiped away by a stroke of Trump’s pen.

For the next 2 years until the mid-terms, expect to go from one disaster to another. Trump and Musk are shutting down programs that were approved by Congress, and it is illegal for the President of the United States to shutdown USAID with a stroke of a pen, when U.S. Congress voted to create it. Again, it is illegal for the president to shutdown an organization like USAID with a stroke of a pen but the president doesn’t care as a felon to violate our laws.

One last note. Keep February 18, 2025 on your calendar. Trump plans on other tariffs around the globe by that date, but being that the chicken that he is, nothing may develop. When Trump gets orders from the real President of the United States, Elon Musk, that’s when he takes action. Last I checked, no one voted for Elon Musk to be president of the United States.

 

 

 

The DOW STOCKS WILL PLUNGE over 600 Points on Monday. Tariffs Will affect Businesses

The Dow Futures have now plunged 608.5 points to start the week cutting the DOW by 1.37%.

This will be what to expect at the opening bell on Monday and upcoming days as more people react to Trump tariffs. Hopefully the markets can recover, but I will be updating the status of the markets as they turn.

Trump wants to take over Canada – then he says NO TARIFFS if they SUCCEED

Trump knows what he’s doing. He’s starting to post about the tariffs that he imposed on Canada, Mexico and China.

In his most recent tweets, and I quote, “Will there be some pain? YES, MAYBE (AND MAYBE NOT!) BUT WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, AND IT WILL ALL BE WORTH THE PRICE THAT MUST BE PAID.”

What he doesn’t say there, it’s on behalf of Americans, in the form of suffering. Then he says that the tariffs will be in place until Canada is annexed to the United States.  He said in another tweet, and I quote, “Canada should become our Cherished 51st State. Much lower taxes, and far better military protection for the people of Canada – AND NO TARIFFS!”

Those are despicable comments made by the president of the free world, someone who wants to take over Canada, and while we are at it, why not look to the east of Canada and take Greenland. He openly admits with no shame that he wants to do that too.

He’s trying to impose economic warfare on our once closest ally, Canada, to make them submit so he can try to annex them the way that Putin annexes countries or go to war with them. Let’s not forget Panama. He wants to take over the Panama Canal too and he says with force if necessary.

So what does this mean? It means that the USA is now being run by a psychopath. He’s a want-a-be authoritarian, as he’s behaving like one. He is creating an authoritarian regime in the United States of America. The spineless Republicans refuse to stand up to him just like the spineless media refuses to stand up to Donald Trump. This is one of the most psychotic posts I’ve ever read.

But Donald Trump was not finished on Truth Social. He then writes…” We pay hundreds of Billions of Dollars to SUBSIDIZE Canada. Why? There is no reason. We don’t need anything they have. We have unlimited Energy, should make our own Cars, and have more Lumber than we can ever use. Without this massive subsidy, Canada ceases to exist as a viable Country. Harsh but true! Therefore, Canada should become our Cherished 51st State. Much lower taxes, and far better military protection for the people of Canada – AND NO TARIFFS!”

Everything he said here is utterly false, and it’s lie after lie after lie. Just check out the language, like “Canada ceases to exist as a viable Country. Harsh but true! It should become the 51st state and then no tariffs”.  This is no joke. He is using the language of conquest, of warfare. These are fighting words he is saying.

Canada is a peace-loving nation. They were our biggest ally. But now we have this madman psycho that 49% of the people of our country chose as their president. It is embarrassing, humiliating and there is nothing funny about statements like this. Back on October 29th, before Donald Trump was elected, it was reported that Elon Musk warns of ‘Necessary’ Economic Collapse if Trump is Elected. He said that everyday Americans must embrace the pain if Trump gets back in the Oval Office. Now, it’s coming true. The American people have been warned time and time again. I started warning people about the upcoming economy during the election because I can see what’s coming.

The following is a post from an Elon Musk supporter…”If Trump succeeds in forcing through mass deportations, combined with Elon hacking away at the government, firing people and reducing the deficit – there will be an initial severe overreaction in the economy – this economy propped up with debt (generating asset bubbles) and artificially suppressed wages (as a result of illegal immigration). Markets will tumble. But when the storm passes and everyone realizes we are on sounder footing, there will be a rapid recovery to a healthier, sustainable economy. All I can say is WOW! This is what America has now become folks! As he is predicting here, “MARKETS WILL TUMBLE. BUT WHEN THE STORM PASSES AND EVERYONE REALIZES WE ARE ON SOUNDER FOOTING, THERE WILL BE A RAPID RECOVERY TO A HEALTHIER, SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY. HISTORY COULD BE MADE IN THE COMING TWO YEARS”.

Donald Trump may survive. Elon Musk will survive. All rich people will survive. What about farmers. What about the middle-class? Will their jobs still exist? Will everyone be able to afford the necessities that we have taken for granted day in and day out? Will we be able to safely travel from the United States in an airplane? Will we be able to afford to drive our cars with the increase in tariffs in oil to make the gasoline that we need for our cars and trucks?

Trump Pulls the Trigger – A 20% Tariff is Now Imposed on Canada

I have been sounding the horn loudly and clearly as to what is going to happen when convicted felon president Donald Trump imposes tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China.

The Canadian PM Justin Trudeau held a press briefing about new U.S. tariffs imposed by Trump this evening, that will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. I have reiterated time and time again how the U.S. economy will be effected.

The stock market futures are showing a steep dive when the stock market opens on Monday. Will they continue to freefall or level out.

Don’t take my word for it. Listen to the Canadian PM Justin Trudeau speak as to the tariffs now to be imposed on the United States. Trudeau says Canada’s retaliatory tariffs against the United States will start with 25 percent tariffs on approximately $20 billion worth of U.S. goods on Tuesday, with $85 billion more to follow within three weeks, to permit Canadian supply chains to adjust.

Trump to Blame for American Airlines flight 5342 crashing into a Blackhawk helicopter Wednesday night

Trump previously fires the head of the FAA before the crash. The New York Times reports that a preliminary FAA report now saying a labor shortage is to blame for the American Airlines flight 5342 crashing into a Blackhawk helicopter Wednesday night. All 64 passengers on board that flight as well as three soldiers inside the helicopter died, bring the the death toll to 67.  This has turned out to be the worst air tragedy in our country since November of 2001. The New York times reported that the staffing inside the air traffic control towers on Wednesday night “was not normal”. The FAA memo according to the New York Times says Wednesday that one air traffic controller was doing a job normally performed by two people. It has been reported that Mike Whitaker, Biden’s FAA head quit on inauguration day. Whitaker says he was pressured to resign by Elon Musk who is in charge of Donald Trump’s newly formed Department of government efficiency. Whitaker as head of the FAA hit Musk’s SpaceX with nearly $650,000 in fines last year. Whitaker cited SpaceX for safety violations during three 2023 launches Elon Mush was outraged. He responded to the safety violation fines by saying “Humanity will forever be confined to Earth unless there is radical reform at the FAA.”  So, it looks as if Elon Musk got exactly what he wanted. He got radical reform at the FAA. There was NOBODY in charge of the FAA Wednesday night when the Blackhawk helicopter collided with that American Airlines passenger jet. Why was there no one named in Whitaker’s place? Its because Donald Trump FORGOT to name somebody to head the FAA. How could he remember to put somebody new as head of the FAA when he was so busy firing people? But Elon Musk ordered the head of the FAA to resign according to the Huffington Post. Why would he do such a thing? Maybe it’s because of the $650,000 fines he got last year for safety violations.

Then Trump hold a post-crash news conference last Wednesday night and immediately announced he as named a temporary new head of the Federal Aviation Authority. It was an unbelievable news conference showing the lack in leadership skills of Trump.  What’s the rush now?  We didn’t have anyone in charge of the FAA on the night of the fatal crash because according to the Huffington Post, Musk fired the guy in charge of the FAA possibly over the head of the FAA’s obsession with safety. Why did Musk have that power? Was it because Trump just gave him the power? That is also against the law.  Less than 2 weeks back, inside the Oval Office, less than 2 weeks after announcing massive spending cuts along with massive firings of federal employees, we end up with the worst air disaster since 2001 and there’s nobody in charge of our Federal Aviation Authority until yesterday, because the richest man in the world reportedly fired the head of the FAA because the richest man in the world perhaps doesn’t like to be fined over safety violations. So now what is Trump supposed to do? With Donald Trump, the best defense is an incredibly offensive offense. So, what does he do? He blamed the midair collision on black people.  He blamed that the fatal air collision was caused by DEI – (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) which as we all know is a dog whistle for black people. Trump complained about all the DEI hires at the FAA under the Biden Administration and he said that is what caused the crash. He said “A group within the FAA determined the workforce as too white. They actually came out with a directive saying it’s too white,”so they had to hire more black people.

While Federal employees were fishing victims out of the Potomac River, Federal employees were receiving offers to buy out of their contracts. Trump accused Biden of lowering the standards for air traffic controllers. But what he meant was that Biden hired people who weren’t white. To drive home the point, Vice-President J.D. Vance, who spread the lie about Haitians in Springfield Ohio eating cats and dogs. JD Vance took to the podium and claimed, “We want to hire the best people who are actually competent enough to do the job”.  If that was the case, then why was J.D. Vance chosen as Trump’s running mate? The implication from JD Vance is that only white people are competent. And what he was saying was not enough. Because Trump was unable to let J.D. Vance get all the attention, Trump grabs the microphone away from J.D. Vance, then lied saying that it was Joe Biden, who thought it easier to just hire people of color, lowered the standards for becoming air traffic controllers. Wow…That is an outright lie. Donald Trump will be known as the worst president in U.S. history. He is incompetent. He cannot make decisions on his own except the ones that hurt other people. Now he’s firing more people, the lawyers and others in the FBI that had anything to do with his convictions before the election. He’s cleaning house, except that he doesn’t have the right to do so. He’s making his own laws and breaking existing ones. Why? Maybe because he has presidential immunity. Congress only has the right to make laws. Not Trump. Trump is fixing to be sued over and over again. The way he is going, he will never last. Hopefully the country can withstand his lawlessness before it collapses before he does, and the way he is going, he definitely will not make it an entire four more years.

Trump is Successfully Wrecking the Global Economy

Trump must be a double agent. How can you explain his actions regarding the tariffs with Canada, Mexico and China. In just 13 days as president, no leader of the free world except for Donald Trump, except for a mad man, would be doing what he has done in less than 2 weeks to hurt his own people. I warned in previous posts that this was coming.

He is causing considerable damage to the economy, and with tariffs going against Canada, Mexico and China today on February 1st, the United States economy will be in a free fall starting Monday when markets open. Watch the futures market. With the announcement of the tariffs going into effect, the stock markets ended yesterday heading in the wrong direction.

The DOW JONES Industrial Average fell 338 points, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 dropped 0.5%. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.3%.  This is just the beginning.

The new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sent stocks tumbling when she said in a ‘Presser’, that the Trump administration plans to go forward with 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and a 10% tariff on hind starting tomorrow, February 1st, 2025.

There has never been anything like it. On the U.S. Domestic side, he is openly taking us out of the global economy. It’s called ‘free trade’ for a reason. You can’t expect to tariff our biggest trade partners and expect the U.S. economy to survive. That is hardly what is called free trade. Every country has to bend towards Trump’s will, no matter what they think. Countries will not be bullied by Trump. He is an ass of the greatest magnitude.

Maybe the jolt in the stock market will scare Trump, because he is a weak person, and maybe the tariffs would be put off, because now there is rumor that the tariffs will be stalled until March 1st. That would be delaying the inevitable.

The president doesn’t know that the U.S. through its funding packages, through it’s social media programs, through its grants, loans is what helps make the economy hum.

Trump has initiated funding freezes, implement a deportation policy chasing critical workers through churches and schools to take them out of America. They are going underground so that they are not doing key jobs in the housing sector, food sector, or the national disaster recovery sector. The crypto-currency market is also tumbling, so now what else does he decide to do to create havoc? Of course, it’s the perfect time to tax our number one, two and number three trading partners.

As an example, Canada is our number two trading partner, after Mexico. 17.5% of our exports go to Canada. 12.6% of the goods we bring in from other countries come from Canada. Canada is extremely critical to the infrastructure of U.S. manufacturing.

They send us energy, such as electric, oil, minerals and strategic elements, which are things that our manufacturing industry use in the making of products produced in the United States. So our idiot president just decides that he wants to implement a 25% tariff on Canada, with all that on the line. Our neighbor to the north will not take this sitting down. Free trade means that you can trade with whomever you like, and if Trump is going to tariff at that level, Canada will simply go out and find new trading partners, similarly to what China has done now doing more business with Mexico and a lot less with the United States. Canada will reciprocate, They will also charge a 25% tax on goods going into the country, an whom do you think will pay for the 25% increase in goods. The U.S. taxpayer of course. So much to say that Trump is best for the economy.

All you will have to watch now is the stock markets, the prices of goods and services and the high cost of gasoline that will be on an indefinite rise. Regarding Mexico, they are big trade partners in the automotive field. Many of the components made for car are made in Mexico. There are 3 major automotive makers in Mexico, so look for much higher car prices in the very near future.

I can’t think it be any thing else except that Trump is intentionally trying to wreck the U.S. economy, and I believe he is doing this on a grand scale. He has entered a multi-faceted trade war. Is there anyone in his cabinet giving this any thought? Do they even care? It’s not going to affect the billionaire. It’s going to affect us.

The only thing I can call this would be to say that it is a grand, terrible experiment of Donald Trump, and the U.S. economy, you and I will be suffering because of Donald Trump.

For the half of the country that voted for him, buckle up and feel the pain that you have caused.

Trump Inauguration Ratings – A Disaster

As an American, I was hoping to see Donald Trump start his second term as president going in the right direction. So far, he has been less than successful, even after just 2 days on the job. But right out of the gate, starting with his inauguration on January 20th, turned out to be a flop.

Donald Trump’s Inauguration ratings are the worst in U.S. recorded history.

It has been recorded that almost 25 million viewers watched the inauguration, but almost 34 million watched Biden’s 2021 inauguration. Comparing him to his own first inauguration, it was down almost 20%. He had almost 31 million viewers in his first inauguration. It was without a doubt the weakest and most pathetic inauguration in U.S. history, starting with the poor ratings. Trump blamed the cold weather as the reason why he was bringing the inauguration from the outside to inside the rotunda. But in 2008, President Obama had basically the same exact weather, with very large crowds, and held outdoors.

Pushing that idea aside, what was the inauguration like? First, his speech was very bizarre. He talked like a crazy man, not the leader of the free world. He talked about attacking Panama. He never mentions about helping the economy. He never mentioned about bringing prices down. He never mentioned healthcare.

Then to think about the tech oligarchs attending the inaugural events. Here is just a partial list of such people that I can name.

Elon Musk – Space X CEO – The richest man in the world

David Sacks – A Venture Capitalist

Tim Cook – Apple CEO

Jeff Mezos – Amazon CEO

Mark Zuckerberg – Meta CEO

Shou Xi Chew – TIKTOK CEO

Why were they there? Most likely because they were yearning for attention, and to ask favors from Trump.

For just about any other president in the past, this period of time is supposed to be the honeymoon period for the incoming president. Usually the people from both sides of the isle will come together to give the new leader support, but in this case, that didn’t happen. Lawsuits immediately came to light immediately after his inauguration speech, now totaling 7 lawsuits, especially when he signed a bill on his first day to end birthright citizenship. Trump will lose the lawsuit and when he does, he will blame someone else.  He never takes ownership of his failures. Obviously Trump has never read the U.S. Constitution. The 14th Amendment states that anyone born in this country except foreign nationalists offspring, automatically become a citizen of the United States and enjoy the benefits of becoming a citizen when born. They get to enjoy the benefits of the state and of the country, regardless if their parents are legal residents or NOT.  Donald Trump is not in office to uphold the U.S. Constitution. He couldn’t even put his hand on the Bible in the swearing in ceremony during the inauguration. Why would he abide by it!

Without a doubt, his favorably rating is low, now reported at 41%. All past Democratic presidents had higher ratings when they went into office by up to 30% higher. So it doesn’t look like the nation is uniting under him. His election created a very real division in the country. Trump needs to be exposed as a fool within his corrupt administration while not protecting the American people in the process.

What else did Trump do on day 1? Well for starters he pardoned the January 6th insurrectionists, and also ones convicted of seditious conspiracy, From poll after poll, only 15-20% of people favored Trump pardoning insurrectionists. These people tried to kill cops, they stormed the U.S. Capital, and destroyed some of the contents, while hunting down Vice President Pence in an attempt to hang him.  Still, he pardoned approximately 1500 people, the very people that committed the crimes on Jan 6.

He took down the Spanish version of the Whitehouse webpage. He gave out some very serious pardons. He gave pardons to people who were convicted of sex trafficking. He said he wanted to do it because the libertarians wanted him to do it, so it wasn’t even his idea.

One of Trumps pathetic predictions is that he was going to get peace into Ukraine on day 1. But then in his first press conference, he now was delegating that responsibility to Xi Jinping, who is the general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who gained power in China in 2012 and claims he never plans to step down to negotiate the peace in Ukraine. He is the same leader that is forming alliances with Putin to destroy America.

The bottom line here is that Trump is starting off with the lowest ratings of a president in history. Biden kicked his ass in the ratings. Trump does not know how to ‘right the ship’. He will continue to do things that are very unpopular, because he has nothing to lose. He’s never going to run again for office, unless he can become a dictator and just not hold elections ever again.

I was sincerely hoping that I could write a kinder, upbeat story about Trump. But once you become a convicted felon, as he is, he will always be a convicted felon, the first EVER in American history and a man such as him could be nothing but bad for the country.  He proves it each and every day. When he puts the tariffs in effect against Canada and Mexico and China as he says he will do on February 1, 2025, Donald Trump will continue to sink to new lows and will hurt the American people in the process. Costs for goods on just about everything will go up for Americans. The U.S. Stock markets will flounder. Our economy is about to go in the tank. So much for the people voting for Trump because they believed he was better for the economy. He’s about to destroy their lives too.

Trump Embarasses Himself Every Day, a True Genuine Idiot

Trump continues to embarrass himself in front of the entire world. He shows the signs of a true idiot, and his mental capacity has a lot to be desired. In his latest string of bizarre moves,  Trump has once again managed to turn the international spotlight squarely on himself, but not in a way that inspires admiration or respect.

One thing he does is to dispatch his son on an ill-conceived mission to Greenland like proposing the idea like – buying the country, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and openly stating that he wants to annex Canada, Trump is fast becoming the laughing stock of the world.

Let’s begin with Greenland. In a delusional move, Trump sends his son Donald Jr. on a diplomatic mission to the country of Greenland. Don Jr. tells the country that “we are going to treat you well”. Why is he trying to take over Greenland. My guess because of global warming and the mounds of snow that used to cover Greenland are melting fast, and a vast amount of land is now reachable that contain mounds of minerals that Trump will be loosing from China in his recent move to try and isolate China with his tariffs. Well, that’s not going to happen.

Greenland is an autonomous territory of Denmark, and these people are smart enough that they would never want to be in Trump’s world of the United States. They made it crystal clear that their land is not for sale, nor is it for the taking. In less than a day visiting Greenland in a diplomatic mission, Donald Jr. leaves the country. Obviously he was not wanted there. The debacle embarrassed Donald Trump and it also embarrassed the entire country. All you had to do was listen to the late night talk shows mocking Trump as to the absurdity of the situation. All over the internet, you can see social media with memes comparing Trump’s antics to a bad real-estate pitch. The world was laughing, but the diplomatic damage was real. Can the United States be accused by other international partners to do what Putin is doing to Ukraine? Denmark is a key NATO ally, expressed frustration with Trump’s arrogance. So it is easy to say that the relations between the two nations took a hit. Greenland’s status was changed to an Overseas Country and Territory (OCT) associated withe the EU. However, Greenland remains a full member of the Council of Europe and NATO. And, remember the NATO rule that is the central idea that governs NATO, an attack on one, in this case, (Greenland/Denmark) is an attack on all. Before Trump could even consider such a move, he would hastily leave NATO. The entire NATO force would turn against the United States, and even the asinine Republicans won’t let that happen. That idea to concur Greenland would never fly in the House of Representatives, regardless of who controls it. Trump likes to make waves, and this is just an example of what to expect of his ignorance in the next four years.

Another stupid more by Donald Trump is his outward statements claiming that he wants to take control of of the Gulf of Mexico, as Trump wants to call it the gulf of America. Trump announced this in a briefing he had at his Mar-a-lago home in Florida. He claimed the move would be “appropriate and beautiful”. Yea, a pretty sick individual. Trump believes that he can unilaterally name an international body of water shared by multiple countries. Talk about backlash, it was immediate. Mexico was not thrilled about the idea, and the proposal is so absurd that even his allies could not defend Trumps proposal. Trump has complete disregard for international norms and the complexities of global relations.

But wait, it doesn’t stop there. He’s floating the idea that he wants to annex Canada as another U.S. state. He claimed that making Canada the 51st state, would solve tariff issues. He is hell-bent that tariffs are what he calls “beautiful” and a great tool for negotiations. So his threats to tariffs to China, Mexico and Canada, what has did they get him? They challenge Trump to do exactly what he wants because they will not bend. Trump will cave as the weak President he really is. In two years, it won’t matter, because there stands a chance that the Democrats will again take over Congress, and Trump will no longer have the power to do anything except Executive Orders. The Prime Minister of Canada reiterates that they are an independent and sovereign nation and do not need Trump of the United States to survive. Countries worldwide made headlines of Trumps proposal to make Canada part of the United States. Canadians mocked Trump’s suggestion. Stunts like this prove that Trump hasn’t a clue about basic diplomacy. His idea of diplomacy is to piss every country off before he becomes president. Well, that is one thing that he was successful with.

Is Trump finished. Hell no. He turns his attention to the Panama Canal. In another news conference, he refused to rule out military action to seize control of the Panama Canal. Trump is threatening an international conflict over a vital waterway that has been under Panama’s sovereignty for decades. The international community is fast learning that Trump does not know the consequences of his words.  So just these reasons mentioned in this post makes Donald J. Trump a global laughing stock. It would be funny to me, but to hear a convicted felon who will soon have the power to create havoc as the leader of the free world is saying these things, and his followers are behind him. I am not one of those followers. I totally despise this man and I will never consider him my president.

Another idea he has to to reject birth-right citizenship. He claims that the United States is the only country that respects birth0right citizenship, regardless if you parents are citizens or not. In order to change that, there would have to be changes made in the constitution. Again, Trump is powerless, but he only has the power of his words. Again, Trump is a very weak person. When push comes to shove, he caves. But with his newfound powers of Executive Immunity, God only knows whats coming for the United States with Trump in control of the reins of government.
